Postwar bungalows and ranchers: Norgate, Pemberton Heights, Westview

Many of these homes still run on aging gas furnaces with original ductwork sized for a different era. The good news: existing ducting is a head start. A properly sized ducted heat pump can often reuse and improve what's there, and our in-house sheet metal shop fabricates whatever needs changing, so you're not waiting on suppliers.

1960s and '70s split-levels: Lynn Valley, Blueridge, Seymour

Split-levels are famous for one thing: rooms that never agree on a temperature. The upstairs bakes while the basement stays cold. This is where system design and air balancing, the step most installers skip and one we include as standard, earn their keep.

Character homes and cottages: Deep Cove, Upper Lonsdale, Grand Boulevard

Older character homes often have no ductwork at all, and nobody wants bulkheads carved through original fir trim. Ductless mini-split systems deliver heating and cooling with minimal disruption. Some of our favourite installs are the ones you barely notice happened.

Townhomes and condos: Lower Lonsdale, Lynn Creek, Central Lonsdale

Strata approval adds a layer most contractors would rather avoid. We don't mind it. We've designed systems specifically to satisfy strata conditions (placement, noise levels, sightlines) while still maximizing performance.
